Roads minister Franklin Bett said the 28.6-kilometre dual carriage way will partly help to address the growing problem of traffic jam in Nairobi. The project will also include the construction of a 12-kilometre slip road, six interchanges, street lights and drainage works. "We may even get the project commissioned in 10 days time," said Bett during the signing of the loan agreement at Treasury Buildings. China Roads has been appointed contractors on the bypass.http://allafrica.com/stories/201111301354.html
